ISO 9001:2000

ISO 9001:2000 is an international standard which specifies requirements for a quality management system.

The Newdell Company has been certified to the ISO 9001:2000 requirements since January 2007.

The Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) (97/23/EC)

The Pressure Equipment Directive (97/23/EC) was adopted by the European Parliament and the European Council in May 1997. It initially came into force on November 29, 1999. Since May 2002, the Pressure Equipment Directive became obligatory throughout the European Union.

The Newdell Company passed our initial PED audit in October 2007.

Canadian Registration Number (CRN)

A Canadian Registration Number is required for all Canadian Provinces in order to sell our valves in Canada. This is a requirement for pressure vessels, and each Province has an individual CRN, and a separate certificate must be obtained from each Province before doing business with that specific Province.
